During the design of the product, the focus was on the use of prime quality components and durable materials, simplicity and straightforwardness in the construction and the electric systems, comfort for driver, courier and passenger, an easy accessible entrance, a low net weight and a superb heat and noise insulation. In the standard specification the product is designed for touring and long haul shuttle operations in a more or less moderate climate. With a more powerful A/C, an A/C in the dashboard and a sun filtering film in the front screen, the product is also excellent for use in a sub-tropic or tropic climate. With an increased heating capacity through roof heating, additional heaters to the steps and with extra insulation, the coach is also perfectly suitable in very cold climates. The current model is a result of a development based on an on going customer driven process of continuous improvement. As a result of this, the Axial, which has been in production since 1995, has evolved into the state-of-the-art coach as we know it now, only the shape of the roof and the windscreen has remained the same as the product first launched.
