VDL Berkhof Valkenswaard is an operational company of the bus and coach division of the powerful and innovative Dutch VDL Groep. VDL Berkhof Valkenswaard is specialised in the development, production, sales, service and repair of luxury coaches VIP, band, sleeping and team-buses, build on a chassis of various brands.

VDL Berkhof Valkenswaard aims to be a supplier of reliable and long-life products for a defined and restricted segment of the market. The focus is on the use of prime quality components and durable materials, simplicity and straightforwardness in the construction and the electric systems, a low net weight and a superb heat and noise insulation. Due to the flexibility of its employees there remains plenty of room within the above-mentioned concepts for customer specific requests.

The development of the products is based on an on going customer driven process of continuous improvement. As a result of this the Axial, which has been in production since 1995, has evolved into the state-of-the-art coach as we know it now.

VDL Berkhof Valkenswaard has a 20,000-m² production facility over a 41,000-m² area with a capacity of 350 units per year. The coaches are sold in most European countries and in the People’s Republic of China.
